The Next Community Meal at St. Mary’s- will be January 21st, serving from 4:30-6pm. Dine in and share in conversation or call Delaine for a delivery before 3pm at 563-920-2753.

Thank you to all who supported the community food pantry and meal at St Mary’s during 2025. This spring is the 15th year for the pantry and meal. The pantry was used 128 times in 2015 and in 2025 it was 288 times. The community meal has grown from 40 meals per month to 80 plus. In 2025, 1026 meals were served. All this could not happen without volunteers that help in the pantry and do deliveries. Also, all those that plan, prepare, deliver, and serve the meals. This is all possible by the continued support of the churches and the community.

MOM'S BOOK STUDY -- Mothers of children still in the home are invited to participate in a book study this winter. We will read & discuss the book "Missional Motherhood" by Gloria Furman. You will need to purchase your own copy. This will be a 10-week study meeting every Monday evening, January 5th - March 9th, from 5:30-7pm at the Community Bible Church building. Feel free to invite friends. Please let Beka Franzen know if you plan to attend or have any questions.

Community Pantry Needs- are laundry detergent, paper towels, facial tissue, tomato juice, chili beans, pork n beans, flour, granulated sugar, spam, vinegar, mandarin oranges, cleaners, saltine crackers, tomato and chicken noodle soups. The pantry was used by 26 households in December. For the year 2025, the pantry was used 288 times.

There will be a Foundations Class offered at the beginning of the new year. This class is intended to inform you of what CBC believes the Bible to say about the Church’s leadership structure, marriage, baptism and salvation to name a few of the topics. The Elders encourage anyone that has not attended this class to come but anyone who would like a refresher course of our beliefs and practices is welcome. Contact one of the Elders if you are interested or have any questions.
